White Horse

White Horse distills the horse-and-rider motif into a small group of blunt, contrasting forms.

A pale horse and broad-brimmed hat emerge against a dense burnt-orange ground, interrupted by the rider’s black vertical silhouette. Rough borders, exposed brushwork and irregular areas of cream around the composition keep the image visibly painterly rather than graphic.

The palette is limited, but the contrast is pronounced: warm orange dominates the surface while cream and black define the figure with only the minimum detail needed to make it recognizable.
